MATTHEW BULLOCK
TENNIS PROFESSIONAL
SPRING VALLEY LAKE COUNTRY CLUB
MONDAY APRIL 11, 2011
DEAR SVLCC MEMBERS, TENNIS STUDENTS & FRIENDS,
Many of you know that I have been in a Federal Aviation Administration "Powerplant & Airframe" program this past year.
A career in the aerospace industry is something that I have always wished to do. I was blessed to have been the recipient of a significant Federal Grant in order to attend school and even more fortunate to have been offered a job in the industry of which begins today.
Hence, for the next four months, five days a week I will continue to be in school in the A.M.'s and working on aircraft in the afternoon/evenings.
Therefore, I am sorry to say that after nearly a decade of service I must cease to be a tennis instructor at the Spring Valley Lake Country Club as of today.
Naturally, this is big change for I have been on "the courts" for (38) years ….... all over the world. You all understand my love for the game of tennis, and my care and concern about the development of my tennis students.
I hope to continue to be involved with tennis at the Club in the near future as my new daily schedule evolves.
My good friend of (20) years (Director of Sports) Tony Chatfield will ensure that your tennis needs are taken care of from this point forward.
As a member of the Country Club, I (and my wife Jana) look forward to seeing you soon.
